At Monarchco, we believe we can address the global shortage of healthcare and nursing staff and thereby improve access to healthcare for people worldwide.
As Monarchco GmbH, we are aware of our responsibility towards our candidates to respect human rights as well as various globally applicable statutes (e.g., as defined by the United Nations) and all international conventions ratified by Germany. We are committed locally and globally to their compliance. We are convinced that long-term business success is only possible if human rights are recognized and protected. For this reason, we anchor corresponding measures and requirements in our business processes and also oblige our partners to respect them. In addition, we will regularly and transparently report on our successes, progress, and challenges in implementing these guiding principles.
This fundamental statement follows the six guiding principles of the “Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany” seal of quality, to which Monarchco GmbH is committed:
This fundamental statement is available in writing and in the languages of the countries of origin from which Monarchco GmbH actively recruits. It is freely accessible, published on our website, and is part of all placement contracts concluded with candidates.
Monarchco GmbH offers candidates free services and comprehensive support throughout the entire placement process and its associated steps. After a successful initial interview, candidates receive further free assistance during the placement process and beyond, including support with recognition and migration procedures, language training, and preparation for relocation to Germany.
All costs that are in direct connection with the procedural steps for employment are covered or reimbursed according to the “Employer-Pays Principle”. Monarchco GmbH undertakes to provide all services in the placement process free of charge to candidates and to reimburse any relevant expenses that candidates may have incurred before working with Monarchco (especially costs directly related to recognition, language training, and relocation). Furthermore, Monarchco GmbH undertakes to reimburse candidates for any costs unlawfully charged by its business partners in violation of this principle.
Candidates incur no direct or indirect costs for placement. In particular, no placement fees, no deposits, no advance payments (e.g., deposits or securities), and no subsequent payments (such as contractual penalties) are required from candidates. Any claims for reimbursement of previously covered or refunded costs are only permissible within the framework of the “Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany” seal of quality.
In this way, all interested candidates—regardless of their financial means and social backgrounds in their countries of origin—receive the same fair opportunity for a future in Germany.
After a successful first interview with Monarchco, all candidates receive an official information brochure (KDA), the Monarchco Welcome Deck, and within about a week, a placement contract in an official language of their country of origin. The placement contract and Welcome Deck explain transparently and comprehensibly the structures, services, costs, and obligations throughout the entire migration process.
Monarchco’s most important guiding value is “Candidate first”—candidates come first with us. We understand the needs of our candidates and consider them carefully, which makes our placement processes much more sustainable compared to a purely profit-oriented “headhunting” approach.
In detailed initial interviews, the professional, personal, and linguistic suitability of candidates is determined using structured guidelines to ensure the best possible matching for them and their future employers. Before actual placement, we match—in the spirit of sustainability—the professional experience and wishes regarding future place of residence and work of the candidates with the requirements of potential job offers. Only then do we organize interviews between candidates and selected employers. From the outset, candidates are informed through placement agreements and the Welcome Deck that their active participation is essential for the success of the entire process.
The above principles and the resulting agreements and service offerings apply not only to Monarchco GmbH but also to all partners and service providers involved in the recruitment, support, and language preparation of candidates as part of migration to Germany.
In addition to the principles mentioned, Monarchco GmbH acknowledges and commits to compliance with the following international conventions and standards:
Overall, Monarchco GmbH—in accordance with its guiding principle “Candidate first”—commits to a fair and ethically responsible recruitment and placement practice. This especially includes refraining from any form of binding or repayment clauses in placement contracts with candidates and in employment contracts with future employers in Germany, unless such clauses comply with the criteria of the “Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany” seal of quality. Furthermore, Monarchco GmbH undertakes not to recruit in countries listed on the currently valid “WHO Health Workforce Support and Safeguards List.”
This fundamental statement is another important step in this direction. Each and every one of us is called upon to implement these principles in daily practice and to lead our company into a sustainable future in every respect.
