A foreign doctor receives the permission to take the degree equivalence course and show their German language skills only when he or she gets accepted by the German authorities. After evaluating the Doctors and Dentists documents by the relevant organizations, the first step is to register in the specialized language course known as Fachsprachpruefung which is related to the field of study. This language course usually take 2 to 4 months and at the end of the course you need to pass the specialized language test. in case of passing the test you have successfully taken the first step. the second step is preparing for a test which is called Kenntnispruefung. There is two ways to get ready for this test:

After passing both the language test and the Kenntnisprufuen with success, you can apply for a work permit as a Doctor or Dentist.

Requesting a specialty position in Germany
